Heel Rest for TIG Foot Pedal

The rear flange snapped on without any fuss, and it sits solid enough that I barely think about it while welding. It’s a small addition, but it makes long passes on the pedal a lot less crampy.

Finally, my foot doesn't slide off the pedal mid-weld—the rear flange holds it rock-solid on the 5-1/2" wide base. It's a simple fix that makes a big difference for control and comfort.

I was a little skeptical about the heel rest staying put, but the rear flange clipped on tight and hasn't budged an inch during my last few welding sessions. My foot finally feels stable, which has made a real difference in controlling the arc.
