Silicon bronze brazing wire on an 8", 10 or 11 lb. spool. For use only on 100% correct restorations or when you do not want to grind steel, as silicon bronze is softer than and grinds easier than steel. Melts at 1866º F. Use 100% Argon shielding gas for best results.

The 8” spool is a good size for a full day of welding without swapping rolls, and the wire’s softness really does make it easier to grind down than steel. Used it on a frame repair where I didn’t want to over-grind the base metal, and it blended in nicely.
