Harsh working conditions caused by smoke, dust, and vapors require a high performing air purifying respirator system. The Optrel e3000x Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) and the Optrel vegaview2.5 welding helmet make a great combination and provide maximum safety and comfort.

A helmet like no other, the vegaview 2.5 features the latest in cutting edge technology—a 2.5 light-state shade level. The vegaview’s 2.5 light-state shade level blows the industry standard 4.0 light-state shade level away and allows for 23% light transmission as opposed to the competition’s 5% light transmission—a whopping 400% light transmission increase. The brighter and clearer field of vision offered by the Optrel Vegaview 2.5, overall, enables a safer and more efficient working environment. Not to mention, infinite shade level selection from Shade Level 8 through 12, and infinite delay adjustment between 0.1s and 1.0s, allow fully customizable protection.

The Vegaview 2.5 includes a True Color Filter, which enables welders to easily see welding equipment LED displays through the helmet and in realistic color. Three sensors and a variable detection angle enable light to dark switching in a snap—0.100ms at room temperature. Two replaceable, 3V Lithium batteries (CR2032) and a light-weight design—the vegaview2.5 weighs in at only 17 ounces—ensure nearly endless hours of crystal clear, comfortable welding. Suitable for all welding applications, as well as plasma cutting and grinding, includes an extra lens, convenient storage bag, and meets CE, ANSI, EAC, and CSA standards.

The Optrel e3000x PAPR System provides increased safety by continuously monitoring air flow by means of an integrated sensor during the whole welding process. Ideal in combination with the vegaview2.5 helmet. Better comfort with adjustable three-level air flow of 170 to 240 l/min and a cooling effect even at the most extreme ambient conditions. Constant air flow thanks to smart sensor-controlled electronics and a variable adjustment of air flow between forehead and respiratory area.

Thanks to a special inner mask that regulates the flow of air, the welder is permanently protected from harmful substances and also benefits from a pleasant cooling effect. Maximum protection and comfort are guaranteed.
