The 25-foot cable gives me plenty of reach around my workbench, and the rotary dial feels much more precise than the cheap pedal I was using before.

The rotary dial has a nice, tactile click to it that makes adjusting amperage mid-weld feel precise and reliable. I’ve been using it daily on my 221DV and it’s cut my setup time in half compared to using the machine’s front panel controls.

I was a little worried the 25-foot cable would be too long, but it actually gives me way more freedom to move around my workbench without dragging the machine. The rotary control feels solid and responsive, making fine adjustments easy even with welding gloves on.
