Finally got my cheap MIG welder running right after swapping this adapter on. The brass threads fit perfectly into my regulator with no wobble, and the plastic hose side clamped down tight without cracking. Nice to have a simple fix that works as advertised.

The threads cut clean and the 5/8"-18 male side seated snugly into my flowmeter right away—no wobble or leak at the joint. I’d been stuck with that tiny 1/8" hose on my budget welder, and this adapter finally makes swapping regulators a five-minute job instead of a whole trip to the hardware store.

Finally got my MIG welder's gas line sorted—this adapter let me ditch the flimsy 1/8" plastic hose for a proper 5/8"-18 connection. Threaded on smoothly to my flowmeter with no leaks on the first try.
