Swapped out the old 40-amp tip for the 60-amp version and the cut quality on 1/4-inch steel improved noticeably. It seated perfectly on the torch head with no wobble, and the arc starts much more consistently now. Exactly what I needed for thicker material.

The threading is clean and it seated into the torch head without any wobble, which I appreciate after dealing with cheaper tips before. Cut quality stayed consistent through a full tank of gas, so I’ve already ordered a spare set.

I was a bit worried about finding a replacement tip for my old torch, but this cutting tip fit the SL60 system perfectly. The multiple amperage options are a nice touch, and it cuts through steel like butter.
